How to achieve Brows on Fleek?

Whipped Salon is a beauty salon which specializes in sugar waxing and body scrubbing. They have a quaint and vibrant store in three locations, BGC, Alabang and Quezon City. I partnered with them for me to try their services so you'll have an idea what to expect.


Sugaring or sugar waxing is a hair removal method similar to waxing. The only difference is that sugar waxing uses a sugaring paste which can be applied to the skin on room temperature, unlike with waxing that uses hot/warm wax.

Another pampering day at KitcheNails!

Our feet is considered one of the hardworking parts of our body as it carries our whole weight all day. Unfortunately, it is also one of the most neglected parts. Once in a while it is best we pay attention to our footsies and give them a day off.

KitcheNails is one of my favorite salons for a hand and feet pampering session. As you walk inside their store, you'll get a whiff of sweetness which instantly boosts your mood. It's as if you walked into a candy shop with all the sweet treats waiting for you.

If you've read my Saladbox Holiday Box post, you'll see that I got one ticket to the Saladbox X Benefit Makeup workshop. I was excited to attend because I knew it'd be the bomb (coz it's Benefit!). I reserved a slot last February at Benefit Greenbelt. But then there were some changes so the available slot I got was the one at Benefit BGC.

It was a fun workshop because it is all about brows! Remember how we all went through that phase where we got so frustrated because our eyebrows were not on fleek? I did and I just lately discovered that groomed brows definitely make a difference to your overall look.

If you follow my blog, you have read my view of Saladbox and my not so good experience. Gone are the days that you have to go under the knife just to get the instant results you want. KitcheNails is a newly opened nail salon at Trinoma. The concept of the nail salon is quite unique as the whole salon exudes scents that will make your tummy flip. KitcheNails is a culinary-inspired nail salon which features a unique way to pamper your hands and feet (and even your nostrils).


They opened a few weeks ago, and I was lucky to be invited to try their services. I rarely go to a nail salon because my nails are pretty low maintenance. I just keep them short and clean and that's it. If I'm feeling a bit adventurous, I'd sport a nail color.

2015 has left us to pave way to 2016. It is a new year, a new chapter of my life as an adult. But before I bravely face another year of adventure, I can't help but look back on the highlights of my 2015 that made it a kick-ass year for me.

A white and fair skin have been a norm in our society and commonly associated with the term beautiful. There had been a lot of discussion about it but for whatever reason you may have, nobody is stopping you to achieve that fair and whiter skin ala Snow White. Me? Last Year, I decided to give beauty boxes a try. I subscribed to Saladbox, unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. What Happened? Read my story below:

I am blessed that my parents have nice genes, so acne has never been a problem in the family. Though breakouts are inevitable due to changes in our hormones, a proper skin care routine usually is enough to maintain a blemish free skin.
