Review: Red Buffalo Wings and Pizza Eastwood

Thursday, November 14, 2013

I was happy to be invited to a Blogger's Event at Red Buffalo Wings & Pizza. They opened a new branch at the ever-busy-but-cool-and-hip Eastwood City.

Red Buffalo Wings and Pizza

Red Buffalo Wings and Pizza has a 2 story store at Eastwood Citywalk 1. It had a pretty minimalist ambiance, taking you back to New York with their pretty artworks. We were told that they were planning to make the stairwell resemble a subway, which would be really cool. Red Buffalo Wings and Pizza are famous for their wings, which had the closest resemblance of the original recipe from New York.

Refreshments were served first while waiting for the wings to be cooked. I had the Kiwi Lemonade. The lemonade was sour and refreshing, just the way I liked it.

(L-R) Strawberry Lemonade, Kiwi Lemonade and Iced Tea

We tasted 3 varieties of Wings, the Lemon Pepper, Parmesan Garlic and Honey Bourbon. All of them are amazing. I don't personally like buffalo wings because I find it too tangy and spicy.

Parmesan Garlic

Lemon Pepper
These flavors are great for people like me. I liked the fact that their serving comprised of wings and mini drumstick parts. The chicken was coated lightly with breading which makes it easier for the flavors to penetrate the meat. It was so delicious that I didn't mind getting my fingers dirty. (There are gloves available if you prefer to enjoy the wings using your hand without the grease and sauce messing your hands.)

Honey Bourbon

Next came the pizzas. I was happy when I found out they serve their pizza on thin crust for I love thin crusted pizzas. The crust was crunchy to perfection.

Steak and Cheese Pizza
The Steak and Cheese Pizza had steak strips and generous amount of cheddar cheese making the pizza cheezier up to the last bite.

Pulled Pork Pizza
The Pulled Pork Pizza had pork bits with coleslaw on top making the pizza interesting and sweet. All of us agreed that Pulled pork Pizza was an instant hit

Aside from flavored wings and Pizza, Red Buffalo Wings and Pizza also offers side dishes to complement the wings like pasta, rice dishes and also desserts.

Alfredo Pasta
We got to try the Alfredo Pasta, which was yummy and creamy. The taste was heavy on the cream side, which I liked.

Seafood Jambalaya
The Seafood Jambalaya which was delicious as well. Most Jambalayas I've tasted had a bit of spicy flavor, but this one's different. The dish itself was filling and good for 2 persons.

All of us was full and was smiling from ear-to-ear. All the food was great. Thank you Red Buffalo Wings and Pizza for the good food and Thank you Aldous for inviting me to your food tasting events!
