From the people behind Rue Bourbon, they bring their great drinks and yummy comfort food with a San Francisco vibe in Taguig. San Francisco Bistro is a great place to have a night cap and nurse a drink to drown the work stress for the day.

San Francisco Bistro is situated in Tuscany McKinley Hill, a developing business hub for young professionals. The bistro may appear quaint from the outside, but as you step inside, you'll be enveloped by the warm vibe of the place. The wall decor will instantly catch your attention for the interesting pieces that screams of San Francisco.

Great Organic Dishes at Pott's Point Cafe Eastwood

Eastwood had a special spot in my heart for the city complex offers a wide variety of places to eat, particularly specialty stores that focuses on healthy eating. My favorite healthy joint go-to places, Go Salads, Detoxify Bar and Juju Eats are among the stores that promotes healthy eating.

A new store joins in as it opens their store in Eastwood Mall recently. Pott's Point Cafe prides itself as one of the very few who offers a whole menu of organic food.

Why Go Organic?

With the boom of population, the agricultural sector have been having a hard time keeping up with our food sources. In order to sustain human's need to eat and survive, Genetically Modified (GM) food have conquered the food industry. GM food are produced by using chemical enhancers that are hazardous to our health. That is why health sectors have been promoting organic products. Organic products are produced using the natural way with less use of chemicals and pesticides.

Pott's Point Cafe is located at second floor veranda of Eastwood Mall. Its facade resembles of a quaint coffee shop with wall decor of books and chalkboard menu. But the store offers more than the home-y and cozy ambiance and good Delano coffee. Here are some items you can try:

New place to try: Chef Bruce Lim's Rustique Kitchen in Pasay Road

Chef Bruce Lim has been our favorite celebrity chef in the Asian Food Channel. Now, Chef Bruce Lim is back and busy in the restaurant scene with his new business venture, Rustique Kitchen.

In partnership with Mr. Tonyboy Couangco and Gretchen Barretto, Chef Bruce Lim recently opened this posh restaurant that serves affordable dishes. As he said, Filipino cuisine with a western touch was the main concept of his restaurant. Along with other food bloggers, We went to Rustique Kitchen to meet the hands-on chef and chat with what inspired him with Rustique Kitchen's menu selection.

The interiors of Rustique Kitchen were marvelous. It can rival to those of hotel restaurants. Not to be intimidated with this elegant interior, Rustique Kitchen's dishes are quite affordable. Imagine a rib eye steak for less than a thousand? Here's a walk through of what we sampled that night:

Exciting things to look forward at Kanto Breakfast Freestyle

Tapsilog is one of the common breakfast staple in a Filipino breakfast table. And Kanto Freestyle Breakfast does it in a way everyone loved it even more.

Kanto Breakfast Freestyle have been known for offering gourmet-style breakfast staples in a homey environment. Their first branch in Mandaluyong was a shocker for everyone. A local eatery that provides gourmet style Filipino breakfast dishes made waves that people wanted to eat there, even as far out as north and south. Everyone wanted to try their Instagram-worthy dishes, including me.

Good thing, Kanto Breakfast Freestyle branched out to reach more people. Opening more branches in Libis, Marikina and Kapitolyo, a lot of foodies got to try their dishes. We were invited in the Kapitolyo branch to try some new items they are introducing to their menu. Street Food with a Twist at Chef Arch's Lime Mandaluyong

Street food had been every Filipino's favorite go-to food. From Isaw, Betamax, Kwek Kwek and Balut, every Filipino sure craves for these every once in a while. But the health hazard of these street food had been everyone's main concern for not eating them.

Fret not, you can have your street food craving fix without worrying about Hepatitis or other diseases at Chef Arch's Lime.

Chef Arch boasts a good background in Food and Beverage Industry. He had been a chef at a few of the Raintree Group of Restaurants like the Museum Cafe. He was also a Chef at prestigious hotels like the Mandarin Hotel. Now living in New Zealand working as a chef, Chef Arch decided to leave a piece of his expertise through his restaurant, Chef Arch's Lime and Kanto Breakfast Freestyle.

Situated at their household in Mandaluyong, Chef Arch's Lime restaurants caters to a more laid back crowd who wants good food while having a good chat with friends.

The Science behind Food at the first leg of BGC Eats 2014

Bonifacio Global City has been shaping up to be a progressive place to live in, catering the lifestyle of the people surrounding it. BGC aims to showcase the city’s healthy culinary tourism by holding BGC EATS 2014, a citywide food tour.

I was lucky to be included at the first wave of BGC Eats this year. The first food tour highlights the science behind food featuring Artha Ting, biologist and Mind Mover from the Mind Museum. Artha along Chef JJ Yulo headed the food tour along with a group of people from the media.
