Soshi has been wanting to try Wakeboarding. On his birthday, I decided to treat him to a 4-hr wakepark experience. I asked my sister and his boyfriend to join us since they have been to Republic and Nuvali. We asked them to show us around Nuvali.
Republic Wakepark has a man-made lake with cables and ropings that is used for Wakeboarding. The facility is safe even for beginners, The staff and even the regulars are friendly and accommodating for struggling beginners.
Stacy's is neatly tucked in one of the buildings near the Mind Museum. The store has that fun and bright vibe, splashed with colors, which would be mistaken as a children's store. Angelique is a props stylist while Abby is a food stylist which they both incorporated into the theme of the store, no wonder the store is aesthetically pretty.

Sidebar is situated at El Pueblo Ortigas, tucked nicely at the corner of Cafe 1771 and other restaurants. Sidebar is part of the Chateau 1771 group of restaurants. Sidebar attracts a loyal following of young professionals who found a great place to unwind after office hours with colleagues and friends.
A homey interior greeted us when we walked in. Sidebar is strategically designed with a huge glass at the left side which makes this quaint place look spacious. A lot of books and shelves can be seen in the whole store which kind of reminds me of a coffee shop/cafe setting rather than a bar/lounge. They have an area for a DJ which I can imagine people flocking in having a good time.
We were introduced, their line of cocktail drinks, carefully created by John Ray, the bartender who willingly posed and explained to us each drink.

Glorietta Food Choices has a nice selection of places to eat. I frequent there to eat lunch with friends. I happened to notice 2 new stores, Manam Express and Q Daddy. Both stores share the same kitchen which was a nice idea. Soshi and I tried Manam Express because from observation, they have a bounteous serving of rice (Good news for Soshi, bad news for my belly)
Manam Express serves home cooked Filipino meals, fast and convenient. You get to choose and customize which type of rice, viand, vegetable and even the sawsawan. All with a bowl of Lemongrass Sinigang Soup for only Php149. It is "Sulit" indeed.
Foodgasm is a yearly event organized by the UP Economic Society along with Mercato Centrale. It aims to give way for start up food businesses to showcase and impress the public with their product.
It was my first time being invited as a food blogger-judge for Foodgasm IV. I was very honored and happy because it would be the first time my personal blog would be out in the public. As a food blogger-judge, we were given a chance to have a friend come with us and share the experience. I came with Soshi with butterflies in our stomach, anticipating what food to expect.
Foodgasm opened to the public at around 7pm but as a food-blogger judge, our call time is 6PM, giving us enough time to scan the stalls, take pictures and talk to merchants. We didn't have any strategy, we just tried the stalls with less people so we could chat with the merchants. But come 7PM, a lot of people flocked in and continued until 9-10PM.
