Zhu Kitchen is a small kitchenette located at the heart of BGC. Managed by Chef Karl, a former veteran, he had turned Zhu Kitchen as a laid back place to dine with the whole family.

I was invited for a Zomato meetup, where foodies and Zomads convene to talk about, of course, food. I enjoy attending these foodie meetups because I get to bond with fellow foodies and share with them a lot of things. Chef Karl has shared a lot of war stories that were admirable. It was a joyful event with a sumptioous spread.

Travelling on our Anniversary, we always make sure to book the best accomodation possible that is within our budget. We usually splurge an overnight stay in a decent 4-5 star hotel on the day of our anniversary.

But for our trip this year, we decided to go with my gut and booked our 2 nights Baguio Anniversary getaway at Lucia's Bed and Breakfast. Soshi may be against it because he wanted to stay in a nice (but affordable) hotel, but the minute we stepped in, he was pleased with my decision.

Every Filipinos love to bath. I think that it is because of our tropical humid weather that makes us water-loving creatures. Bathing has been one of the things that I spend luxurious amount of time. That is why I love hoarding bath essentials that smells good and refreshing.

Vigan is one city rich with cultural heritage. It is one of the cities that had preserved its original state dating back 16th century, when the Spanish colony started. With that, Vigan is recognized as a UNESCO Heritage town.

Paprika is a new small restaurant that serves comfort food and crafted drinks. Situated at RCBC Building in Bonifacio Global City (just across the Fort Strip), Paprika may have a smaller space, but their interiors screams of comfortable dining experience.


Foodie bloggers were invited hours before their grand launch last Friday to try their dishes and drinks. Panjee, the owner/operations manager had welcomed us despite their busy schedule that day. I loved that Paprika serve dishes that are familiar to the Filipino tastebuds, simple but definitely with a twist.
