It's Christmas time again! It is the most wonderful time of the year! 

OR NOT! Depending on where you are and your state of mind, this season often comes with a lot of woes as we are not yet out of this pandemic tunnel. We've been in this Pandemic for two years already and honestly, it is getting kind of exhausting.  

This season has not been so great for me because the Netherlands is on strict lockdown until next year due to the Omnicron variant. We had our very own scare when the whole family went down with seasonal flu for a week, right after Thanksgiving.

But regardless of the pandemic, celebrations are very much welcomed. Along with the winter blues and the days are getting shorter, Christmas is this one day where you get to be merry and stuff yourself with a lot of food and drinks. This is the time to relax and forget all about our worries and anxieties.
